Group Offerings

Why is group offerings counseling beneficial?

Group offerings is the treatment of multiple individuals in a group setting by a clinician. Research has shown it to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, meeting numerous needs, and can be utilized for all ages. Individuals that join a therapy group will participate in treatment with other similar aged individuals that share the same concerns, experiences, and needs.

Summer Groups

Our groups include 30 minutes to 1 hour sessions that meet from July to August in Westbury and Islandia.

Groups are run by qualified clinicians who are trained for the specific needs of the group, and are motivated to foster a safe, accepting, judgment free environment. Each group will have a minimum of 4 individuals and maximum of 10. Handwriting Helpers can run from 1-5 individuals.
