Leonard Caltabiano

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Leonard Caltabiano is the Chief Executive Officer at Family of Kidz. Dr. Caltabiano is a NYS Licensed Psychologist and a NYS Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Caltabiano has over 15 years of experience assessing and treating individuals with autism as well as delivering and overseeing behavior interventions within the school setting. Dr. Caltabiano also has specialized training in learning disability identification and intellectual ability assessment.

Dr. Caltabiano has presented nationally on topics related to autism, behavior intervention, parent training, cognitive-behavioral approaches to intervention, and intellectual assessment. Dr. Caltabiano began his career as a school psychologist within public school system and received his Doctor of Psychology degree from St. John’s University in 2010.

As a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), Dr. Caltabiano has a strong commitment to researched-based approaches to supporting individuals with special needs. Dr. Caltabiano is also a proud father of two children, Matthew and Gianna. Dr. Caltabiano, his wife, and his kids love the outdoors and spending time with their dogs!
