Barbara Heim

Senior Director of Suffolk County for Kidz Educational Services

Barbara Heim, OTR/L, is the Senior Director of Suffolk County for Kidz Educational Services. Prior to joining Family of Kidz, Barb was the founder, owner, and Executive Director of Complete Rehabilitation PT, OT, SLP of the Hamptons, PLLC for 35 years, providing related services throughout Suffolk County.

Barb is a hands-on Occupational Therapist who personally oversees each school district's related services program. She has more than 40 years of school-based therapeutic intervention and administrative experience. Clinically, she has expertise in many areas of the field with an emphasis on Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Sensory Integration Therapy and expertise in the development and implementation of MTSS/RtI support within general education curriculum including providing staff development to related service providers and teaching staff.

Barb graduated with her BS from Quinnipiac University. She and her husband have been married for 42 years and have two adult children and two amazing grandchildren. She is a sports enthusiast enjoying golf, tennis, and working out.
