Gayle Kligman
Executive Chairman
Gayle is the Executive Chairman to Family of Kidz. She is the original founder of Kidz Therapy Services, Kidz Educational Services (formerly known as GEK), and Kidz Conference Services.
Gayle began her career as a licensed speech pathologist in the public schools of Massachusetts and continued her career in private practice and as an independent provider after moving back to New York. Recognizing a void in quality therapeutic, educational and autism services for children, she launched her own practice providing services to individuals, municipalities and school districts.
Operating for over 25 years, Kidz Therapy Services has become one of the largest providers of Early Intervention and Pre-School services on Long Island, and Kidz Educational Services has grown to be a leading provider of school-age therapeutic, educational and autism services. Believing that a comprehensive approach to serving the total needs of the child has become a core value that is instilled in the mindset of all providers at the Family of Kidz.
Gayle is a Licensed Speech Pathologist in New York and Florida, a NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped and Certification as a School District Leader (SDL). Gayle holds a B.S. degree from Boston University, a Master’s in Education from Northeastern University, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Hofstra University. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), the Long Island Speech and Hearing Association (LISHA), and the Long Island Association of Special Education Administrators (LIASEA). Gayle and her husband Scott are proud parents of three children, two daughters-in-laws, and four grandchildren.
